Allegro Beef Jerky

Directions

  1. Trim fat from the roast to a minimum. Slice the roast into 1/8 to 3/16" slices. Cut across the grain
  2. Mix the marinade in the plastic zipper bag. Place meat slices individually in bag. Place bag in the refrigerator 12 hours (put a pan under the bag). Rotate the bag every 4 hours if possible
  3. Pour the mixture into a colander to drain. Lay out the slices on dehydrator trays. Sprinkle one side of the slices lightly with black pepper. Dehydrate till dry. Serve

    Eye would be good. I use Top Round. But I like the hot and spicy marinade and yes put black pepper on it. I can't add anything to your method but I can comment that allegro is the best marinade. We are in a secret club that only allegro users will know about. It is the best. Use the Teriyaki marinade on an electric grill for skirt, short ribs, chuck flat iron, and flap steaks. It will crust it over for a great flavor.
